Kolam – direct to home cinema movement is an effort to provide an alternative outside this system. We intend to produce three to five full length digital video movies every year. Is this possible ? Yes. It is possible and feasible if only thousands of lovers of good cinema make their contributions before the movies are made.

If a few thousand cinema lovers keep sending the pre registration money of Rs. 500 every three months, good short stories, novels in Tamil and other languages, socially relevant concepts, new creators and artistes capable of such productions will keep meeting you regularly at your homes through the dvds. Kolam is the direct meeting point for creators and viewers. Like the numerous dots of a kolam pattern, viewers are everywhere. Kolam movement is a movement of creators who would join these dots to draw a beautiful pattern
